Slain: Back from Hell Review – PlayStation 4

As I've mentioned before, we live in the age of developers recreating their pasts. This phenomenon can have both positive and negative effects. On the bright side of the equation, old genres are having life breathed into them for the first time in years.

Positives + Great heavy metal presentation; + Solid combat system

Unfair difficulty at times

2D Castlevania Style Must Own Vita Title

Slain is the 2D Castlevania game Vita owners never got. It's a fun and challenging gorefest with an original heavy metal soundtrack. Very happy I picked this up.

Great game. If you liked super nintendo action side scrollers, you should not miss this game.
