Skullcandy Indy True Wireless review

Still not a bad option for the price.

Great fit; Solid isolation; Bluetooth 5.0 and a strong connection; IP55 certification; Small and portable charging case; Easy pairing process; Price

Average battery life; Build is all a cheap plastic; Touch controls are hit or miss; Branding is all over; Re-pairing to another device is cumbersome

Skullcandy Indy

Skullcandy's Indy earphones are part of a growing number of "pipe-style" true wireless models that have a design that's somewhat reminiscent of Apple's AirPods but that cost a lot less.

The Skullcandy Indy earbuds cost half the price of Apple's AirPods; offer solid wireless performance; are comfortable to wear and come with a compact charging case that delivers an extra three charges (4 hours of battery life in 'buds).

They push the treble a little too hard (they're bright) and their bass could be a little punchier; If you don't use the stabilizing gels, they're a little hard to get out of their charging case

Skullcandy Indy true wireless earbuds review

Say what you will about Apple's AirPods - love or hate the design, you can't argue that it has taken off popularity-wise. And, because of that, there are plenty of companies that are imitating the look.

Skullcandy Indy review: Bassy bad boys rivalling Apple AirPods

It's 2019 and a brand like Skullcandy needs no introduction. The headphone giant has seen its popularity soar as they cater to the urban youth who want stylish headphones that not just look brash but also pack a punch where its most needed - bass.

Skullcandy PUSH vs INDY – Which Truly Wireless Earbuds are Better

With Skullcandy's first iterations of truly wireless I felt like they hit on some marks and missed others. Battery life is nice on both, but the edge goes to Indy, also Indy has better BT connection as well. Aesthetically and audio wise, Push is the better of the two.

Skullcandy Indy True Wireless Earbuds

I honestly hate the fit on these, sound is great but the right bud just won't stay in my ear. That's honestly my biggest issue and it's gotten to the point where I only use the lest headphone.

Skullcandy Indy

The Skullcandy Indy have a fun, punchy sound and good noise isolation... that is if you get a good fit. Unfortunately, their design makes it difficult to get a good fit, which is a shame as its price and performance would have made it a good value.

Fun; punchy sound; Good noise isolation; Sweat- and dust-resistant

Too much bass; little resolution; Hard to get a good seal; Limited ear tip and wing selection

Pleasant surprise

I didn't expect much from these, as Apple airpods seem the obvious choice for wireless earphones - however, these have really surprised me! They fit well, cancel out outside sound as have amazing quality - highly recommend.

Faulty battery

I received this item around a week ago, have been using them for around 5 days. The battery life was great for the 3 out of 5 days. All of a sudden the earphones when listening to music would only last around 5 minutes before dying and having to be put back in the case to charge.
