I've played every Simcity since the original came out in the late 80's and each one has had it's ups and downs, but this one is awesome. I know the game has a bad reputation due to the launch problems, but anytime something new is done you should expect problems.

Graphics, Glass Box, Region View, easy way to upgrade buildings or roads Etc; just click on it and then click upgrade!

So many options and little to no help in game! The only tutorial that I've seen thus far is the general getting started tutorial that you play when you first open the game; But this is a minor thing!

Solo play and sprawling cities and are so 2003, as you'll need social skills and more focused designs to prosper in this excellent update

I bought this game in 2003. This was my first experience of simcity as I had only used Windows XP and the earlier versions are not compatabile. This version did not state that it would work on XP, but I have been running it with no problem.

Simcity has always been a game of creativity; the amount of play styles you can use is amazing, and the "always online problem" isn't really a problem you can't solve. I give it a 5 star rating because it is simply fun to play multiple times.

Reviewing SimCity is a rough gig. Not because there's anything wrong with the game, far from it. Rather SimCity is a beast of a game that won't reach its full potential until it's been out in the wild for a little while post-release.

Attempting to step up from previous Simcity titles was Maxis' goal during the development of the reboot of the franchise. They not only excelled wonderfully, but also crafted an experience that never deteriorates with each playthrough.

Bought for a 12 year old. He has always enjoyed the Simcity games. He would have liked to have a disc also, but it didn't come with one.

I can't believe these things are still around! I got one & its still a very interesting game. I'll upgrade to Simcity 4 eventually but for now this will do...
