SilverStone Seta H1 Review

Inflation may be roiling the PC-components field as much as it is your grocery bill, but one thing has stayed roughly constant: PC case dynamics. High-end PC cases typically cost a bit over $160, and mainstream ones start around $80 and rise from there. Most of the cases we’ve seen over the years fall in between those two poles, having a standout feature or two, such as enhanced materials, spiffy fans, or luxe lighting or connectivity to justify a slight bump in price. A high-end case usually has at least two of those enhancements. The SilverStone Seta H1, though, violates that maxim. We really thought that its average selling price of $160 to $175 must be down to shipping inflation, shortages, or something of the sort until we looked further at competing cases. Indeed, SilverStone announced the Seta H1 with a $199.99 list price, even though the weight alone tells us that this case's steel makeup means it belongs in the mainstream category when it comes to material thickness. So, ...

With its ho-hum build materials and 3-pin fans, SilverStone's Seta H1 feels removed from the high-end PC-case market in which it competes. Look for a price drop.

Supports 420mm-class closed-loop coolers with radiators up to 460mm; Stock fans cool interior quietly
