Attractive and slim

An attractive and slim case, with a pleasing brushed metal finish. The flap at the front, hiding the ports and drive bays, keeps the overall appearance sleek. My only complaint is that, possibly due to the vent on the top, my standard ATX fan seems noisy in this case.

SilverStone Milo ML04

In the past at Phoronix we have looked at the SilverStone Milo ML01 , ML02 , and ML03 HTPC enclosures, which all were nice and lived up to the prestigious SilverStone name we have come to expect over the years.

A nice functional and sleek HTPC case

A nice functional and sleek HTPC case. It can accommodate a full blown ATX PSU, a full size microATX motherboard, and an optical drive. I have it paired with an AMD APU in a miniITX board, and a low profile Noctua cooler, and it's performing solidly. It certainly looks very nice underneath the TV.

Great htpc case

Great case. It was definitely an improvement over what I was using. Just be careful to know how big your parts are compared to the space in the case.

Fits well with my home theater; Is well thought out and comes with good accessories for tying up cables; The light on the front can be adjusted to different brightness; I had a hard time telling if the hard drive light could be seen when the cover is up, but it can and actually looks really nice.

The stand for one of the locations for an SSD is very tight depending on the location of some of your cabling; I couldn't get it to fit with the location of my motherboard power plug; It is a pretty tight squeeze for an optical drive and ATX power supply.

Moderately small, a couple flaws

Overall, in the end I decided to use a different case. This is a decent case to work with for a Living Room Setting if you don't plan on using a DVD/Blue Ray Drive that often.

As an HTPC case, it is a very nice case to build with if you can look past a few design flaws; Very Living Room friendly size; Solid build material; Just has some flaws that brings it down from the 5 egg review

The DVD/Blue Ray Drive bay is right in front of where your PSU will be placed and has a tight fit when trying to connect power to it; The HDD is below the DVD/Blue Ray Drive bay making it near impossible to access it without removing your DVD/Blue Ray Drive.

1 Star taken off for $109 price. You dont want the front door open because the LED is too bright. I removed the USB/audio from the front and installed it into a black header. It sticks out just a little but its in the back, who cares.
