The lens is fairly squat, measuring 3.7 by 3.5 inches (HD), but it's a bit heavy for its size at 1.7 pounds. This lens is definitely the affordable option to the manufacturer's 24-70mm. It produces adequately sharp images in all types of light. I'm impressed with the image quality. The lens itself is huge and heavy.
