Three years ago, Sigma released three new product lines (Contemporary, Art and Sport) with the intention of streamlining its lens range while simultaneously bringing its products up to date.

Although pricey and a little heavy, the Sigma 24-35mm pushes zoom lenses to new heights with its robust build, image quality and versatility.

I have previously had 35mm and 50mm from the Art lineup. The 24-35mm f/2 Art is not as sharp as the 35mm, but very close to it. The 50mm Art is in a league of its own. Packing 24mm, 28mm and 35mm into a single lens, without compromising much quality, is really something.

Extremely bad front and back focusing issues. Even the ones that were in focus had low quality.

The most perfect lens I ever had :-) but be prepared that this is not a standard zoom lens, the magnification is not great from 24 to 35mm ;-)
