Purchased this lens after reading some good reviews. The lens wasn't packaged very well and was rattling around in the box. When trying the lens it was soft at all ranges, so adjusted with the Sigma Dock and got good performance from 35mm - 105mm range, but poor from 24-35mm range.
Just great!!!!
A very capable lens that is a joy to handle; Works very well with my D750
Heavy; Zoom opposite direction than Nikon
SUPER SHARP. Using on a D7100 and D500. Perfect focal range for family photos, portraits, groups, etc. Great "walk around" focal length. LOVE this lens. Very solidly built like the other ART lenses. It's heavy, just shy of 2 pounds. Smooth stiff zoom ring, doesn't float. Really fine quality optics.
This lens is great for everyday. The f4 provides good light in most situations. The lense has a solid feel and good build quality. Focus has been very good producing clear images.
This lens performs as well as the Sony at a third of the price. The images are in sharp focus and the lens is easy to use and works perfectly with my Sony 9ii.
I got this lens for portraits. That might sound daft considering all the rave about primes but when I heard a top portrait photographer say she used the 24-105 when pointing out that you don't need a crazy expensive lens to do beautiful photos, I bought it. And I love it.

One of their latest products is the Sigma 24-105mm f/4 HSM DG OS | A. As the name implies, it is part of the "Art" series, thus their most prestigious segment of lenses. In Nikon land, it obviously targets the Nikkor AF-S 24-120mm f/4 VR, which so far has been the only real option option for...
