The Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM is a great value for full-frame shooters. It's quite sharp, and although it's on the heavy side, its size makes it a good match for most full-frame D-SLRs, even the relatively compact Canon 6D.

I've been a working photographer for over 30 years, and never owned a Sigma lens before. For years I shot weddings/events/meetings with Mamiya/Pentax (medium format), and gradually moved to Canon/Nikon in the digital years. During that timeframe, I only purchased and used OEM lenses.

SUPER SHARP. Using on a D7100 and D500. Perfect focal range for family photos, portraits, groups, etc. Great "walk around" focal length. LOVE this lens. Very solidly built like the other ART lenses. It's heavy, just shy of 2 pounds. Smooth stiff zoom ring, doesn't float. Really fine quality optics.
