Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F - Brand New review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F - Brand New review

Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.

Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better

Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue

REVIEW: Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Review

Specification Over the past year or so, Sigma has been gradually updating their lens lineup to fit into one of three categories, Art, Contemporary and Sports. This super-telephoto zoom lens fits into Sigma's 'Sports' line-up of lenses that promise excellent optical quality, fast autofocus and a dust...

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens Review

While the focal length range of this lens immediately raises the eyebrows of wildlife and sports photographers, this lens is not limited to those uses. While photographers pursuing other subjects may not immediately recognize the usefulness of a 150-600mm zoom lens, many will quickly realize the...

Loving this lens so far. I have put up a full review with a bunch of sample images of Australian wildlife.. Enjoy :) http://www.davidromaphotography.com/blog/2014/12/sigma-150-600mm-f5-6-3-dg-os-hsm-sport---australian-hands-on-review-with-sample-shots

Excellent build quality, 600mm wide open is very sharp even handheld; stabilization is quite effective, I quite like the push pull

It is rather large and heavy; But that is to be expected at 600mm and I was able to hand hold it with no issues; The minimum focus distance leaves a bit to be desired when compared to the Canon 100-400mm

. So far though, we tested it more for portraiture than sports, but we're going to do so! With a flash, this lens shows off nothing else but pure sharpness, and even without a flash in good lighting. The image stabilization is proving to be quite effective, but man is this thing heavy.

The Sport version of Sigma's 150-600mm lens is the most expensive in our line-up, but also offers a premium build, fine-tuned features and an impressive image quality. Nestling inside the dustproof and splashproof barrel are 24 elements in 16 groups.

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports (Canon EOS) - Review / Test

As far as the mechanical quality is concerned, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports is, without doubts, a professional grade lens. Everything screams quality here but you also feel it ... in terms of weight.

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F - Brand New review

Apart from the somewhat nervous start, when I lost the screw out of the lens hood – which, in hindsight, would benefit from being captive and irremovable – my experience of using Sigma’s latest telephoto zoom in the sort of conditions it was designed for was extremely positive.
