Loving this lens so far. I have put up a full review with a bunch of sample images of Australian wildlife.. Enjoy :) http://www.davidromaphotography.com/blog/2014/12/sigma-150-600mm-f5-6-3-dg-os-hsm-sport---australian-hands-on-review-with-sample-shots

Excellent build quality, 600mm wide open is very sharp even handheld; stabilization is quite effective, I quite like the push pull

It is rather large and heavy; But that is to be expected at 600mm and I was able to hand hold it with no issues; The minimum focus distance leaves a bit to be desired when compared to the Canon 100-400mm

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports

The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports offers a unique and high-quality alternative to similar lenses from Canon and Nikon. Neither of those companies have a lens in their line-ups with the same focal range though - the nearest competitor is the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD, which is...

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Review

Over the past year or so, Sigma has been gradually updating their lens lineup to fit into one of three categories, Art, Contemporary and Sports. This super-telephoto zoom lens fits into Sigma's 'Sports' line-up of lenses that promise excellent optical quality, fast autofocus and a dust and...

Excellent sharpness; Low CA; Well built; Fast focusing; Keenly priced; Dust and moisture resistant construction; Effective stabilisation; Focuses relatively close for a 600mm lens

Zoom creeps forward when pointed downwards (without lock engaged

Built like a tank and takes superb images

Like all reviews, this lens is a beast (heavy), but built like a tank, although the feel and handling is still very nice. Focus speed is very fast given the amount of glass and weight it has to move around. It's also silent.... If you use the focus range limiter, then focus speed is even faster.

Easy to use

The best tele-zoom on the market

The best tele-zoom on the market. Incerdible sharpness and OS (optical stabilization system) which allows handheld shooting with such a long focal lenght. I'm using it with Sigma SD1 Merrill and the results are stunning.

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F - Brand New review

The Sigma 150-600mm ƒ/5-6.3 Contemporary is a very good lens, with an outstanding performance to dollar ratio. It's a great bargain, given both its versatility and the prices for the alternatives from the major manufacturers.

Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports (Canon EOS) - Review / Test

So how do we call the thing ? Sigzilla is taken so Sigsaurus maybe ? Seriously, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS | Sports is QUITE a lens so I'd like to start the verdict with a warning.

. So far though, we tested it more for portraiture than sports, but we're going to do so! With a flash, this lens shows off nothing else but pure sharpness, and even without a flash in good lighting. The image stabilization is proving to be quite effective, but man is this thing heavy.
