Loving the lens so far - Was able to handhold
I have had this lens for a few days now. So far I am loving it. I have posted a full review on my blog with a bunch of sample images with 100% crops of Australian Wildlife.

The Sigma 150-600mm ƒ/5-6.3 Contemporary is a very good lens, with an outstanding performance to dollar ratio. It's a great bargain, given both its versatility and the prices for the alternatives from the major manufacturers.

- Well built
- Fast focusing
- Very keenly priced
- Effective stabilisation
- Focuses relatively close for a 600mm lens
Cons:
- Zoom creeps when pointed up or down
- No weather sealing
- except for a rubber gasket on the lens mount

Real Game Changer
Received mine and I Immediately make Test Shots at 600mm. Very Sharp for Wildlife Shooters,the OS is Very Good also. I'm Very Happy with it so far!

I'm no bodybuilder but had no problem with weight - when walking the support came from my Kinesis (kgear.com) chest-worn holster, ideal for support and quick-draw action...
