Fun game

I bought this simply because of the price. Steam has the complete version for 49.99 US download. comes to 56$ Canadian. Only problem is that the game crashes a lot. I had to shut off my antivirus and any other software running in the background to get that to be less frequent.

The exellent graphics

Pros (Good things / what I loved): - Amazing Graphics - Lots of different options to play Cons (Bad things / what I didn't like), and how would you improve on it (next steps): - Need a steam account - 2 hours to set up When you open the box it comes with a instruction guide.

Sid Meier's Civilization V

Sid Meier has a long-standing and dedicated following of gamers who know exactly what to expect from his games. In this respect, the fifth installment in the long enduring Civilization series is true to its roots.

An impressive number of civilizations to choose from and a comprehensive tech tree; Great replay value; Respectable amount of customization and scalability options; Multiple ways of dominating the world

No radically different or innovative addition to the series; Taxing on system resources

Civilization 5: Brave New World Review

This expansion goes a long way towards ironing out some of the kinks in Civ 5. There are still some issues, but I will probably sink more hours into this game than I care to admit.

Civilization V: Gods and Kings can't fix what is fundamentally flawed (review)

Gods and Kings feels like Civ V is taking a step forward in some respects. The new espionage system is a worthy addition, and it smartly enhances the sorely lacking diplomacy of the original release.

Civ V is finally a builder's game Many times when I approach a new Civ adventure; I just want to plunk down in some corner of the world and erect impressive structures of culture and significance that last the ages.

Civ V is still fundamentally flawed At the core of the Civilization series is the management of a careful balance between expanding your empire and researching new technologies; maintaining a standing army; and improving diplomatic relations with other nations.

Civilization V

It can't be easy for a long-running game series to stay fresh after 19 years and several iterations of one general idea, yet Civilization has managed remarkably well. Through its first four versions, the quintessential PC strategy game has evolved from a habit-forming time-waster into a colorful and...

Addictive as ever; Some excellent game-play additions

Feels far more simplistic and less rich than previous Civilization titles; Changes to major mechanics will require significant readjustment time for veterans

Average, because the Game Crashes

Love the Civ Series, and 5 has a lot of great changes and features. The problem is it crashes when your save gane file is big, playing a big map or...

New tech and units

Video card issues

Frustrated

I've played many years earlier parts III and IV with love. My expectations to this part V was quite high. I have very high level computer and the parts in it. :) Landscapes, music and this new idea are great in part V, but this system doesn't work like it should.
