If you want to play a strategy game or if you have never played a Civ game and want to try one, give Civilization V Gold Edition a try. It contains the vanilla version as well as the expansion Gods and Kings.

RIPPED OFF

I FEEL RIPPED OFF. I CAN'T USE WHAT I PAID FOR. IT REQUIRES ME TO GO TO SOME OTHER WEBSITE OR SOMETHING TO STREAM THE GAME I GUESS. I JUST KNOW THAT WHEN I TRY IT TELLS ME THE INTERNET SITE IS DOWN. IT HAS BEEN SINCE I PAID FOR THE GAME. THERE IS NO NUMBER OR CONTACT THAT I CAN USE EITHER.

An amazingly addicting and long-lasting strategy game!

An amazing strategy game from start to finish. It's been around for a few years now and it has not lost it's spark. There are so many different routes you can take for your civilization and it requires a well thought out plan to conquer the rest.

Civilization V: Brave New World

While the path of peace has always been a more noble and challenging route to take when playing Civilization, grinding through turns to win a cultural victory is crushingly dull when you could be whooping it up as a warlord and stomping all over your rivals.

Brave New World crashes. Brave New World incorporates the Religion and Espionage features from Gods & Kings. So many features of both expansions are neither pleasant nor interesting. Save your money.

Civilization V: Gods and Kings

Civilization has always had a special place in my heart. As a turn-based 4X strategy game, it is the antithesis of damn-near everything in the shooter-saturated landscape that is the modern game market.

Brilliant addition to the greatest game

The Brave New World expansion is an excellent addition to what was already a truly great game. The new game elements all work well without unbalancing anything. The game is probably a little harder overall now but there are more victory options and interesting challenges to take on.

Challenging; Easy To Learn; Gameplay

Civilization V: Brave New World

The end game of Civilization games (all of them) has always been their biggest weakness. From the ancient and classical era, when everyone is still exploring and expanding, to the medieval and renaissance era, when alliances, religions and border wars wax and wane, the first half of any Civilization...

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World – PC Game Review

While this second expansion for 2K Games' epic Civilization V is titled Brave New World , it has nothing to do with the novel by Aldous Huxley-or Shakespeare's play The Tempest , which is likely the origin of the phrase in popular culture.

Adds cultural victories to Civ V ; plus more wonders; nine new playable powers; plus a new Scramble for Africa scenario

Reuses old art in a bad way
