Wow. There's a reason this mic is labeled as industry leading. The sound quality is exceptional and it has great tonal balance with a range of treble down to bass depending on the angle of approach, so to speak.

Who can fault the quality of the legendary SM58? Solid mics with superior sound quality. Low handling noise, and the preffered mic amongst artists. It even comes with a leather carry pouch and mic clip. One of my SM58's is now12 years old and still performs like the day I bought it.

I was familiarly with the sure product from having worked with them in a church where I operated the sound mixing and video. Liked the warm sound so when it came time to purchase a microphone for my own use it was my top choice. zZounds made the shopping for a complete kit easy and affordable.

I use this mic since mid-2011 and it has never disappointed. I SM58SE version, which is the same as the SM58LCE with a start / stop. The price / quality ratio is excellent, it is a reference microphone.

I would recommend this mic for anyone who is looking for a mic that can do it all. It sounds great in any situation and it can take a beating. I bought my first Sm58 in 2000 and now it doesn't look new but when I plug it in, it still sounds crystal clear, like the first day I bought it.

This microphone is the perfect combination between presence and feedback rejection. It has a slight cut around 7khz and the highs are rolled off around 15khz. Use it for those not so pleasant voices that are loud or ear piercing and it works wonders on male falsetto as well.

its best for its price, dont need any pop filter ext. but do keep in mind its a dynamic microphone so u will have to purchase xlr to usb cable seperatly if u wanna use it with ur PC.

This microphone is excellent. My mother purchased it so she can be able to practice songs for her voice lesson she has with June every Friday.. she is really enjoying practicing her voice lesson with the microphone.

I've always wanted an SM-58 due to everyone I know that uses one are very happy with them, and let's face it: SM-58's sound the best for live situations, and can hold up well in studio situations.
