Love them!

I love being plugged into my music without being plugged into my phone! For 8 years I used the original SE112 Sound Isolating earphones with great success, but now prefer not getting tangled, or needing to have my phone on me to enjoy music.

Additional control with with on-cord buttons; great sound isolation; solid audio range

Easier to misplace now that I'm not plugged in

Awesome.

Simply Amazing. Love the earphones. I have used Bose, UrBeats and a few others in the same segment. This ones great if you want High Def Sound and not just bass boost.

The absolute best cost-benefit

This earphone is a beast. It's beautiful, fits well in the ear, its cable is reinforced with Kevlar (it would be really hard to break it, but even if you manage to do it, the cables are replaceable!), the sound is amazing and the isolation is pure magic, even when listening to podcasts.

in ear monitors

I am usually not a big fan of in ear monitors but I was in need of a pair for a single situation that I was in on the road so I decided to just purchase these from a locals music store that I have never heard of .

Shure SE215 Review

Highly isolating for a dynamic-driver set and boasting a smooth and detailed sound signature with an emphasis on bass and mids, the Shure SE215 is poised to be a high-value in the consumer market.

High isolation; solid sound quality with consumer-friendly signature

Detachable cable can be unwieldy and may be uncomfortable for some users

Shure SE215 Wireless Review

In 2011, we reviewed the Shure SE215, $99 wired earphones that still sound ridiculously good for the price and come with a removable cable. Few earphones in this price range offer removable cables, which can add years to the life of the product (replacing a cable is a lot cheaper than buying an entirely new pair). Now Shure is bringing the swappable cable to the wireless realm with the SE215 Wireless, Bluetooth earphones with a removable neckband wire. At $149, they deliver superb audio performance, with full, round bass response and crystal clear highs, and easily earn our Editors' Choice thanks to the value of that replaceable cable. The big secret here is that the earpieces are the exact same ones found on the wired SE215 model—they're simply sold with a different cable. This means if you already own and love the SE215, you merely need to purchase the wireless Bluetooth cable in order to also have a wireless pair. The bad news is that the cable costs $99 on its own—only $50 le...

The Shure SE215 Wireless earphones offers some of the best in-ear Bluetooth audio performance available under $200.

Excellent audio performance; Super-secure in-ear fit, with some passive noise reduction; Removable/replaceable audio cable

No extra cable included; Mediocre mic quality

Shure SE215 really stand above the ordinary. For nearly £65, these earphones are worth every penny and they will last quite a long time. They are a highly customisable pair of earphones.

Good isolation Highly customisable with various isolation sleeves Long lasting High sensitivity Unique design

A little excess bass boosting Single micro driver Output power not constant at highs

The Shure SE215 headphones are the entry-level offerings in the award winning SE Series. These in-ear isolation headphones come with a single dynamic driver and a frequency range between 17 – 22,000Hz.

The Shure SE215 headphones are built to last; The housing that connects the 3.5mm audio jack to the cable is nicely reinforced and as the cable comes out at a 90-degree angle accidental damage is kept to a minimum, Shure specialises in making kit for professionals so it's the little details that...

We like the heavy-duty appeal of the cable and plastic houses but we're aware they're not as sleek as other makes out there; The biggest problem with the Shure SE215 headphones is the rather large and bulbous driver housings, which make you look a bit like a TV broadcaster and will certainly prove a...

Shure SE215

Shure isn't a company that needs to update its products often. Among the audio nut crowd, they're held aloft as one of - if not the - most reliable manufacturer of earphones around. The SE215 takes over from the classic SE210, adding a detachable cable and a new earpiece design.

Powerful; thud-tastic bass; Wide soundstage; Class-leading cable quality

Not the most detailed treble
