Absolute tripe. The control scheme is just too convoluted and half the time doesn't work as it's supposed to. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to this.

When setting out to create their own skateboarding game, Ubisoft could have settled for yet another boring Skate or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater rip-off. But instead of doing that, they went a whole new direction, creating a game that is equal parts Footloose, George Orwell's 1984 and Lords of Dogtown.

Shaun White Skateboarding shows a fair deal of promise when you start the game. There's an intriguing introduction to the dystopian world of New Harmony wherein players will soon be guiding their character through a moral uprising.

Don't bother. There's really nothing enjoyable about this game, even the multiplayer which has promise you can't even enjoy because there is no one online to play with.

Everything about this game is garbage do not get this game it is so boring I mean really why would you make a game where you can shape a rail any way which way you want that aint realistic get any of the skate games 1-3 this one just dont cut it so unrealistic

Shaun White Skateboarding is clearly not trying to take the realism route so why it opted to have a control system similar to Skate's is beyond me.  Had the game used simpler controls and ironed out a few of the other issues such as clipping, it may have taken the skateboarding game crown but sadly...

As boring and dull as the world it's set in, Shaun White Skateboarding fails to impress. Its gameplay is unoriginal but relatively deep; however, it's hidden beneath an overly aggressive focus on a dumb story.

There are two dominant skating games on the market at the moment, Tony Hawke and Skate which have been the heavy hitters for several years now. Sure, they've had their ups and downs but in the grand scheme of things, they are as close to skating as we mere mortals will get.
