Every entry in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy has made the sly, winking promise that we're being led to the rebirth of the too-cool, self-assured, no-nonsense, dual-wielding Lara Croft of PlayStation 1-era infamy.

Buy Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lara Croft, like many of our gaming heroes, has mostly existed under an umbrella of moral infallibility. Her adventures over a generation of games have always been under the pretense that she is on the right side of things, and what she is doing must be necessary in the...
There's an old Dril tweet that popped into my mind while I was playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The tweet itself is about forgiving pedophile Jared Fogle, but what's more iconic is what follows Dril's joke-appraisal of the disgraced Subway spokesman. "Sorry. Im sorry.
We need to talk about Lara
Fantastic set-pieces; Challenge tombs are superb distractions; Script and voice work are spectacular; Looks incredible
Breaks its own immersion at times; Enemy AI and variety aren't great; Some fiddly camera moments
Phenomenal game. I know I'll be in the minority when I say "rise" wasn't that good. The first one was the first tomb raider game I ever played and I absolutely loved it but the second disappointed me. I can't exactly pinpoint why it didn't stack up but it just didn't. Not saying it was bad at all.
Waited for the price to drop & not disappointed. I love the modern tomb raider games. Action, puzzles, Adrenalin & stunning graphics. Worth every penny of the £25 notes ... What's the deal these days with games being £75 (yes I know it's not like the old days £1.79 spectrum games) I'm aware of the...
Three titles into a trilogy and dozens of games into a franchise carried by one of gaming's most adored protagonists, if this is the culmination of Lara Croft's origin story, we can ask for nothing less than an action-adventure experience worthy of the name.
Beautiful Visuals; Interesting Story; Fun variety of traversal mechanics; Great Tombs and Level Design
Unbalanced/slow pacing; Traversal Mechanics are confusing at times; Combat is scarce; Lack of a strong ending
Just like the previous games, Lara is busy saving us yet again. This time in Lara's journey, she is saving the world from the Maya apocolypse. She is, of course, overcoming tombs again and going through a deadly jungle.
Games are a strange beast sometimes. Were it not for Lara Croft paving the way forward for spelunkers all over, there'd be no Nathan Drake. On the other hand, if Uncharted didn't exist then the Tomb Raider reboot would have been something else entirely.
You've seen the trailers, you've played the previous games and now finally, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is upon us. The final installment of the modern Tomb Raider trilogy; the one where Lara finally becomes the hardened grave robber she is destined to become.
