Every review I've ever read of these states: "For the price, these can't be beat." And I agree, but "for the price" is a relevant caveat. Bass is pronounced, more so than my MDR-V6's, but is somewhat muddy, especially in the 125-500Hz range.

The built is OK, pretty good. But you do not buy your headphones for the built - you want to listen to the music. And this is where the problem begins, the sound quality is simply not good at all. Compared to my ole Philips (bought for a third of the price!!!) this set is very dull.

As with all other computer components, PSU's are constantly evolving. The strain on PSU's keeps increasing with new processors, graphics cards, etc. At the moment of writing this article the most powerful PSU in the Hardware.info product database is...
