Before it was even released, I'd heard word that this so called "Ultimate" collection of Mega Drive games was missing the memorable game of that platform, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, achieved by slotting the Sonic 3 cartridge into the Sonic & Knuckles cart and enjoying the benefits of both games.

This is a great compilation of some of the greatest games ever made, some I've never even thought would ever come back, and it's quite good value money as well as there are so many games…it's just a shame you can't save........but other than that GREAT GREAT collection!

Good game if you just want to remember the good old days.

In what almost seems like a distant memory, the SEGA introduction to any game once conjured many positive emotions as you knew that a special warm magic was about to appear in front of your eyes in 16bit glory.  Nowadays though you can't help but feel that something is seriously missing.

I loved this collection, not only for it's promise of nostalgic blastermastering (!?!) but for the sheer amount of joy i had playing this on the ps3's wireless controller sitting comfortably in my couch.

When I saw the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for the Playstation 3 on offer for just £5.99 I just couldn't resist but pick it up having not only owned but thouroghly enjoyed the Sega Mega Drive when first released.

When I first saw this game(s), I thought great some birght spark has had the great idea of putting all my favourite sega games in one big bundle ! Great thought and it was only about £20 to buy at the time , which was a bonus. For a very reasonable price you get 40 gaming classics.
