Rubbish Refurb
Would not recommend. Would not purchase again. (Though, to be fair, after decades of computer use and dozens of drives, I've probably been lucky to only have this and an old laptop drive that have crashed on me.
Pros:
- No pro big enough to mention in the face of the cons
- I mean, that it's a lovely shade of black is hardly noteworthy
Cons:
- I had this drive running for 66 days before it crapped out. Without warning. One day, working a treat
- the next day, suddenly, loads of clicking and, if I was very lucky, my computer might see that it existed and had data on it.

I got this for my son's xbox one for memory and it works great, just plugged in answered a question and ready to go

I shoot thousands of photographs of birds, wildlife and landscapes. The images fill my computer ram and hard drive very quickly. I have found these External Hard Drives work well for me in keeping my computer free of too many gigabytes...

Does what it should no problems
Lovely sturdy design , and simple plug and store. Only problem is my TV does not see this as the storage size is too big !!!!! Quite expensive compared to similar though

GARBAGE!
Unit suddenly lost power, will not restart, (NO Power) ALL our back-up GONE!! Seagate should be ashamed for producing such a poor quality product. Now to RMA it back, we have to pay out of pocket, were done with Seagates Expansion Desktop Drives.

As usual
As usual Seagate branded item. This is my 14th HDD from Seagate. Be careful with the adapter, it is sensitive to power fluctuations and good earthing is must. Do not keep it running when not in use, this increases the chance for better longivity of the drive.

ok. but setting up requires internet site and it comes with power supply lead(not pointed out on description

looks stylish and modern
nice bit of kit. plugged it straight into my PS4, formatted it, and now I have lots of memory for more games! happy days! thanks Argos for a fuss free purchase.

Good job Seagate
Amazing device. I had to do a lot of research not being a tech person, but as soon as I bought it I was congratulated for my purchase with the saying that "Seagate makes long resisting products, talking out of personal experience". I have it since 2013 and it is still as good as when it was new :)
