Great value on an item that worked as well if not better than expected. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to store a lot of info and still carry it with them.

I use it as a secondary drive for my iMac desktop. I've had it for about 8months and can't say I've had any problems with it. I do not use it extensively, so perhaps if you read/write a lot to it, you may want to spend more for a "better" drive.
Good for archive , need to buy 2 similar hard drive and copy your data to two hard drive together. If one hard drive stop working you will have another copy.
8 TB - very high capacity for this size hard drive. Good price for this size
Slow recording after recording files for 2-3 minutes; Speed drop down up to 10 times !!! Very poor chance of recovery after a fall or shock this type hard drive. Poor build quality and performance of the device Hard drive have 6 platters and 12 heads + Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR) technology
To early to say many things as I just bought it. I hope it will last as long as WD.
Easy Install
Not really 4 GB; Only 3.62
I use it to backup my Windows notebook and to store some data from my MBP13". The partitioning was easy. The backup process using Windows' software did not work at all calling an error that somehow relates to the 4K sectoring. I used Norton Ghost 15 instead to backup the Windows notebook.
Sleek design Fast enough Silent
4k Sectors (not fully compatible with Windows
One extranal harddisk that you can always trust means thats seagate best company I ever use in my life. Its always trustable company and long life harddisk. Affordable price and worth of buying. In market lots of companies available but my recommendation is always seagate.
Quick delivery and happy with the product
Very light. Nice look. And if you are writing items under 100 gb then the speed is 80 mbps....but for more then that the speed is only 10-20 mbps on average...
The package said compatible with PC's or MAC. To use with PC, you have to go to their website, format it, and then re-format it to remove all the junk the first format puts on it. Seems to work OK as a back-up drive. Nice small size.
I'll admit, I'm not schooled on how to use this. I've successfully backed up my Imac with it, but to pull up anything from the drive is very cumbersome. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how things are organized on the drive and that is frustrating when trying to search for something to upload...
