I love the blue colour and 4Tb capacity, but it's slightly fat form factor while knowing the capacity will be available in thinner models soon leaves just a little to be desired for that 5-star rating.

Biggest portable storage on the market at the moment. A single large file (gigabyte) not as quick to transfer as many files equallying same size (not sure why). Very good for what I need it for. I purchased two - one used as backup.

Excellent Portable External Hard drive, that enables me to take all my favourite Movies and Photos away with me when I travel away from home. With an ever increasing need for memory these small vert efficient 4TB Seagates do the job well.

When I used custom backup plan, it did not back up some of the folders selected for backup. I had to do 'All files' back up to get this done. Backup is fast. But seagate has to fix this issue of custom back up not backing up all folders selected.

My son needed extra storage for his gaming system. I brought this home, he hooked it up and it works great! Plenty of room for all his games.

Did the job that I purchased it for

DSLR camera output storage, needed to store photographs and video. It replaces a full, large format, 3 TB drive. Fast transfer speeds made the job go quicker. One small drive to travel with, and it's got everything on it!
