I have tried many AM radios and always have had a problem with poor reception. I live in a brick building which does no help. I was never able to get AM reception from my home stereo even after purchasing a few different antennas. I just wanted the AM for the talk shows.

Was surprised at the full sound from such a tiny radio with a mono speaker. I expected it to be tinny but it was full and bassy with the added bonus of a clock radio. Very pleased with my purchase.

radio works well in an area of poor reception

The radio is very unstable when Its off. All the buttons are the same size do if your playing the radio at night in the dark.its impossible to change any settings on the radio unless a light is on
