Low cost.
If you want a mid stream thumb drive go with this one it works just as it states it will, fast with both reading and writing.

SanDisk Ultra 32GB Flash Drive
Flash drives have become as ubiquitous as cell phones, and the large number of them out in the wild has caused most distinguishing characteristics to melt away. This is certainly true of the SanDisk Ultra (32GB), which boasts only average features and durability along with a decent capacity and an...
Cons:
- Only USB 2.0
- Not very rugged

For some reason slow write speeds
The flash drive has a slow write speed despite the available and fully functioning USB 3.0 port on my neighbors desktopPC. I am currently transferring 20 GB of data, without any increase to the expected 40 mb/s speeds as advertised. Reasons?

Does the job
Mounting/Visibility – Even though my phone (DROID Maxx) has OTG and I installed the Sandisk app BUT for some reason the drive would not mount it seemed. This is likely a ROM problem so I did not list it in CONS.
Pros:
- Portability – This is a very compact drive
- It's not the most compact I've ever seen but it is small enough that it is as near as makes no difference
- Versatility - Having both Micro and USB Standard-A ports makes this a very handy drive
- Build - It is well built, not flimsy at all.
Cons:
- Compatibility – not all mobile devices have OTG capability Covers – The sliding covers do not cover the tips the they are easily pushed back making them not very protective Port Length – The ports are minimum length so if you have a case on your phone there is a good chance you will have to take it...

Back-up Vault is horrific
Do not, I repeat do not, use the back-up Vault whatever it is called. I followed the 12 page pdf directions & set-up "My Vault" and tried to copy about 12 GB of photos.
Pros:
- Lightweight
Cons:
- Difficult Setup
- Poor Interface

Deceptive advertising
This flash drive boasts "up to 4 times faster than USB 2.0" speed, but what they don't tell you, is that it only means the 'READ' speed! This thing is not ONE BIT faster on WRITE (copying files TO the device!) than any USB 2.0 device when using a USB 3.0 enabled plug.
Pros:
- not excessively expensive
- (less than 14 dollars
Cons:
- very slow write speed even with usb 3.0
