ENGINEERED SELF-DESTRUCTION

Have used SanDisk USB drives and products exclusively for several years - until now. I purchased the 32GB Cruzer drive and used it for several months. Without warning, I found the drive to be write-protected.

Build Quality; designed to fail

Nice color, dial is too loose

Bought on clearance at local drug store/pharmacy. Liked the color and the price was great. Interestingly my unit's dial is extremely loose. I read the other reviews that found it was extremely tight, but mine is so loose you have to have pressure on the dial to keep the connector extended while you...

Provides the bare minimum

Sure this key does hold data, you can plug it in ok (as long as the piece of plastic locking the plug holds out) and it does whatever any other 10 pound USB stick does.. The protection software provided with the key is rubbish!

Too sleek?

This is an aesthetically pleasing drive that functions well on both Mac and PCs. My one complaint is that it's almost too sleek. I feel like I have to jam it into the USB port on my Mac since there are no ridges on the device to tell me when it's been pushed in far enough.

SanDisk Cruzer

Once viewed as sleeper products, pocket-size USB storage devices seem to be gaining momentum. Devices like the new SanDisk Cruzer ($59.99 to $199.99 direct, depending on the amount of memory) provide users with an alternative storage method to limited-capacity floppy disks and larger, less portable...

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium U3 2GB USB Flash Drive

SanDisk has been a big and common household name ever since the introduction of flash memory into mainstream consumer hands. When the name 'CompactFlash' was mentioned during the times when majority of electronics such as PDAs and cameras used it, many will associate it with the name 'SanDisk'...

If you need speed out of your USB, this is a great option. however, there are cheaper options out there that can do the same stuff

-its fast; -its rather sturdy

-its bulky; -price per gb is very high

We all need a good USB flash drive these days and those of us who invested in a drive several years ago may well now be looking for something newer, fresher, quicker and with a much larger capacity.

Nice tactile feel; Looks great; Major Brand; Good performance for its price

No cap retention mechanism – easier to loose; Cannot be partitioned or mounted as a hard drive

It does what it say's on the tin.

it's the easiest way to save most things from your computer and using it on another far easier and much much quicker than CD/DVD so it has to good.
