So easy with SanDisk

Transfers files, etc.. so quickly - so glad I bought it.....

I find using the Dual USB Drive 3.0 is great for freeing up space on my computer and so easy to move files; photographs; etc..

Amazingly Rugged

I thought I had lost my 2 week old Extreme USB drive, but it turns out it had just been in the pocket of my pants when they went in the wash. It got trapped in the front lip of the washing machine, and blocked the drainage hole.

* Survives a month trapped in the washing machine * Decent speed

* Slide mechanism isnt amazing

Best USB Flash Drive on the Market

I have found that for USB 3.0 ports, the SanDisk Extreme series performs the absolute best and is very durable! This is my 3rd that I carry around.

terrific flashdrive

Love the software that comes with it, and the drive is much higher quality than my previous ones. The open and close is very nice as well. It is narrow enough to allow two usb's side by side so don't have to rotate.

It will survive a washer and dryer!

If you need a USB flash drive with extremely fast read/write speed, this is for you. Of course you need a 3.0 port on your computer to achieve peak performance but 2.0 is still pretty darn fast. Between that and the name SanDisk, you can't go wrong.

USB3 doesn't work with Linux

I bought the product to specifically backup the home directory on my Linux machine with a fast usb 3 port and found out that the device isn't recognized by Linux. It still works as a usb 2 device so it isn't a total lose.

Works good even with USB2.0 controller

Unlike some other devices, this flash drive works fairly quick even when connected to USB 2.0. I never tried to connect it to USB 3.0 so I have no idea how it would work at top speed.

Good Product!

Overall a good pen drive with good transfer speeds. But I am not too impressed with the build quality due to the sliding mechanism.

SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive- Includes SecureAccess Software

There's a lot of USB 3.0 sticks but many don't have performance worth talking about. This and the high end Lexars do. The Sandisk is good value (these days) and a reliable brand. Be careful of clones on eBay. The only reason it's not 5/5 is the form factor.
