I bought this to replace my Verbatim encrypted flash drive. I found Sandisk's Secure Access software to be cumbersome and not particularly user friendly. In order to edit a file, the software requires the file be removed from the "protected area" into a common area.

Great and fast while they last but two of these drives somewhow locked the files on them so they couldn't be deleted, and there is no switch to configure this.

I make Bootable USB flash drives so I need speed. Images mount to these drives in half the time as the other USB drives and they are really fast at booting up and running programs on them. They are twice as fast as other drives.

Tiny  -  easily mislaid !  Secure access software can be very slow

I bought this as I was wanting a stick to put films on and watch it through my tv so pleased I bought there is plenty of space on it and so far no problems

The cruzer works great in my system. Good write speed 5mbps approx.

Really, it just works as advertised. If you need a trustworthy flash drive at a decent price, this is it.

Lots of capacity for very low price. Like that it comes with security set up. Not liking the plastic case so much; but, am not planning rigorous...

Very practical due to its size. The only bothering thing is that it tends to get back in when inserting into the computer.

sandisk cruzer edge 8 GB pen drive has 20 MB speed of reading the contents from the pen drive and around 5-7 MB of speed when the data is written to it. the pen drive has different design from rest of the pen drives and have a push to drag button to the get the usb port out of the pen drive.
