I'm running this off of a Mac Mini Late 2014 with 2.6 GHz and 8GB of RAM. Runs like a freakin dream. Personally I love watching The Expanse, and it looks phenomenal on this screen. The colors pop, images look great.
Good low price 4K, lacks some basic features on picture management but overall is a good bargain for the price. It doesn't have a DVI port but you get 2 HDMI (1 @ 60Hz and 1 @ 30Hz) + 1 DisplayPort. It does includes cables and that's a good plus and surprise nowadays
Just plugged this monitor in and WOW. The Xbox X looks amazing. Tried Forza 7 and Wow, no adjust to colour yet and very nice colour out of the box. Was going to get the AOC monitor but in reviews this one was slightly better colour, viewing angles and an eyesaver feature. Plugged it into HDMI port 2 and picked up 4k stright away. You need to plug it into the HDMI 2 port to get 60hrz else if you plug it into port 1 will be only 30hrz. Just thought to mention this to any other buyers. This monitor is highly recommended for Xbox X and PS Pro. Great for a budget monitor and reviews out ot slightly better than the other listed AOC monitor. The only drawback is only has 2 HDMI and 1 Display port, plus headphone jack as no speakers. If using this for xbox or ps only, then this is not an issue. You can also wall mount this or a better stand. Rather than buttons has a joystick to adjust settings or turn it on and off and another reason I got this over the AOC as the buttons on that are poor according to reviews, were tge joystick on the Samsung works better.
I've been using this monitor for just over 3~ years now, I would never go back to 1920×1080. This monitor has been used mainly for gaming and I have been very very happy with it. Now that the large curved widescreens are out I would seriously look at those these days, but if you're after a decent 28" monitor then this is perfect for work. (Make your boss buy one for the office!)
I use this for photo editing, and it's a huge improvement on my old HD LG monitors, though not quite up to the standard of pro monitors costing 4 or 5 times as much!
So I've seen some less than great reviews for this product and I just don't get it, it's a great gaming monitor and really good value for money. Looks really nice, clean black lines and really good colour quality, what more can you want-
