I love the Samsung Gear S! I have two nitpicks: I wish the battery would withstand 3 days of frequent use instead of two (but I guess it could be worse-some smart watches don't quite last a day). My second nitpick is with Tizen itself and how it doesn't function fully with third party apps.

Samsung has released a number of smartwatches over the last 12 months. This time it was the turn of its first "standalone" smartwatch, a smartwatch which lets you make and receive calls from your wrist. Except, it's not really standalone, because you need a smartphone... a Samsung smartphone...

Samsung really wants to find that sweet spot in the wearables market- having released over six Gear devices. The latest wearable called the Gear S has the ability to make phone calls and act as a standalone device.

This is definitely an upgrade from the first Galaxy Gear watch. The only thing I missed at first was it did not have a camera. But I'm over it now. The S voice works much better. The speaker is very clear and texting is a breeze on the mini keyboard. Much more stylish than the original Galaxy Gear.

Stunning watch do not believe tech site reviews, they are becoming very subjective and are now as bad as concert reviewers. Links brilliant with a Samsung phone and add a SIM card and it's in a class of it's own.

It is just so amazing .. you will never know how beautiful it until you wear it on and switch it on. It does get a bit warm, but honestly it's still my 1st day so I will leave another review after 2 weeks. I got it with special delivery and it arrived the next day, which was really great.

Well for me it's the number one intelligent watch. Not perfect but on its way ... very light to weare and after a month I am very happy with it. The price is right compare to apple and the look is simply outstanding.

Very happy with samsung gear s watch

Samsung helped launch the idea of a modern smartwatch to general consumers when it unveiled the original Galaxy Gear . That was in September 2013, if you can believe it, and since then Samsung has launched four more smartwatches - the Gear 2 , Gear 2 Neo , Gear Fit and Gear Live .
