In 2014, Samsung finally offered a worthwhile Android alternative to the iPad mini with the Galaxy Tab S. Now it is back with an updated design and new screen size. This 8in version is the smaller of two otherwise identical tablets sold by Samsung and carrying its premium "S" moniker.

We already had the smaller Samsung Tablet, but needed another. Given the first purchase has be quite a durable products for a few years now we were happy to purchase another Samsung. Does everything we want of it.

This was a Christmas present for grandson. Black Friday order was unexpectedly cancelled at last minute. This works but real hassle to get one and have it delivered in time. Of course price was more for smaller tablet.

Amazon and Beach Camera performed better than expected. I received the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 a full two days before the promised date. The set up was very simple, pretty much turn it on and follow the screen prompts. So far I am happy with the purchase.

Its a good tab having many features and a nice camera clarity with a nice new look.It has a thinner and lighter profile with a new4: 3 aspect ratio but the Specs bump is small and battery life is short.
