Leave it to Samsung to ruin one of its best products. The original Tab S had plenty going for it -- except few people bought it. That's one reason Samsung might have chosen to make its new model more iPad-like.

This is my first tablet of any kind and I love my tablet more than my phone. It is the perfect size for me to take with me any where. The fact that it has Microsoft Office included on the tablet was the biggest seller to me. I love Samsung products because I believe, they are of high quality.
No, the Galaxy Tablet S2 is not perfect. But it is exactly what you'd expect: a classy, state-of-the-art device that delivers all the features it should. The micro-SD expandability is a must-have - I can't believe people will pay close to $1,000 for devices that don't allow expandable storage.
Light AMOLED Tablet, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Tablet Pros:-The high-performing Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet boasts of being a light and slim AMOLED tablet that is compact, stylish, and feature-rich alike.
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in July 2016, and by the end of September, the device completely "bricked." Failed during a low-usage period, with plenty of battery life left.
Not much..; since it stopped working within 90 days
Hardware failure within 90 days/ horrid customer support for returns
Nice screen, colorful, too many apps, confusing to figure out. If you are looking for a laptop substitute no tablet will do it. It's light and easy to carry when traveling but as a hardcore computer user I find it difficult to do things on the tablet.
Good colors; fairly big screen; easy to hold
annoying ad at top; no music app; confusing
Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 the slate to unseat Apple? Not quite, but in many ways it feels like an Android iPad. It's a joy to use thanks to a thin and light design, a big and bright screen and plenty of power, which are the most important things really.
Good screen; Thin and light; Strong performance
Average battery; Erratic fingerprint scanner; Plain design
When I first wrote about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, my dad remarked of the news story , "So, I heard Samsung is making a new iPad?" This perfectly sums up how average consumers view tablets as a product category.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is Samsung's latest flagship mini-tablet. It targets the same segment of the market as Apple's new iPad Mini 4. Packed with custom Samsung technologies and a new, refreshingly slick design, the Galaxy Tab S2 is one of the best Android tablets on the market.
Powerful processor; Great display; Decent battery
Touchwiz skin still not great; Runs old version of Android
Samsung, perhaps more that any other company in the Android space, has been experimenting with the ultimate tablet recipe for a number of years. We've seen all sizes and various power setups in the company's line-up.
Vibrant display; 4:3 aspect ratio works well in portrait or landscape orientation; ultra slim and lightweight design; microSD slot for storage expansion
It's pretty expensive; build not as high-end as competitors; graphical limitations; lower resolution than predecessor; battery life not great
