There is a simple truth here: Not everyone who wants a tablet wants an iPad. I would say most people do but there are plenty who do not like Apple, iOS or following the crowd - or who simply prefer Android and Samsung. For those people, this is the tablet to buy.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 review: A genuine iPad rival

The Tab S2 is impressively slim and light, but at £399 for the 9.7-inch model it's pretty expensive considering the better-built competition.

Vibrant display; 4:3 aspect ratio works well in portrait or landscape orientation; Ultra slim and lightweight design; MicroSD slot for storage expansion

It's pretty expensive; Build not as high-end as competitors; Graphical limitations; Lower resolution than predecessor; Battery life not great

The Galaxy Tab S2 is another premium tablet that houses the Exynos 64 bit octa core processor. Samsung claims that this is the slimmest and the lightest tablet in the world. In general this tablet comes packed with all of the features that you will find on a smartphone including the look and...

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is much more fun to work with. Its trendy, slim and powerful, and fully justifies its price tag of Rs 39,400. So if you are planning to buy a tablet/hybrid tablet for a long time, this could be the tablet for your.

Great display; Aristocratic design which is tough as well as quite comfortable to use; Really long battery life; 4G connectivity and even SIM calling; Smooth performance

Cameras could have been better; Does not come bundled with the keyboard cover

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Review: We review the 9.7-inch model of Samsung's 2015 business and entertainment tablet, another powerful-yet-portable device packing some smart, unintrusive features. But is it a case of deja vu?

Incredibly thin; Powerful hardware; Screen well suited to productivity; Long battery life

Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7in

T here are certain things that you're guaranteed to get with the 9.7in Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. The first is quality. It's clear from the moment you pick it up that this is a premium tablet, with no hint of flex and a stylish, understated design. The second is speed.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 review: The Apple iPad Air 2 finally has some competition

Samsung has always been renowned for its line up of smartphones and for introducing the phablet category and delivering on it with its Note line of devices which have led to the birth of a new category of large screen smartphones.

Ultra-sim, lightweight design is undoubtedly very attractive; Android on tablets has improved in the last year; Decent display with an ideal aspect ratio

Expensive compared to Apple's current iPads; Performance and battery life falls behind the best tablets out there

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Review

This feels almost completely obvious but the Tab S2 9.7" is definitely the most compelling tablet that Samsung has released to date, and I think it's a good overall upgrade over the Tab S 10.5".
