The Tab S 10.5's superb AMOLED display makes it the premier tablet for Android lovers. Pity it's not a little more future-proof.

A superb AMOLED display, slim design, and great performance make the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 the best tablet on the market today. Adding LTE makes it even better.
Superb screen; Solid specs; Excellent battery life; Expandable memory; Multiple users
Magazine UX customizations can be annoying; Lots of unneeded third-party software; No NFC
My first tablet but compared to my father's, brother's, and roommate's tablets, it is amazing in almost every way. Crisp screen, fast processor, excellent feel in your hands, streams videos no problem. Overall it is a great tablet and I highly recommend it for anyone!
Battery Life; Screen/Display; Easy to Use; Well Built/Quality; Easy to Set Up; Speed/Performance
I'm really excited I moved from the iPad to the Galaxy Tab S. The speed of the downloads. The Picture Quality WOW! The preloaded Apps. It is just a Great Product.
When Samsung sets out to conquer a certain division, they go all out. For years now, their GALAXY S and Note smartphones have been the best-selling devices worldwide. It was only until the recent surge of competition from Chinese manufacturers did they slip a little.
Stunning display; Good battery life; Superbly thin and light; Powerful performance
Occasional UI lag; Same old design; Still a little plasticky; Price
Purchased this product because I'd previously owned an iPad where the storage had quickly been filled. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, you have the option of installing up to 128GB of additional storage - more than enough to satisfy even the most hungry data hound.
i was waiting for an amoled tablet for such a long time and when it got anounced i was so trilled. Got it on launch day and i knew that the amoled screen would blow me away and.... it did more than that, it overkilled me.
I replaced my iPad with this tablet. I looked at the specs for the iPod Air vs. the Galaxy Tab S and the choice was easy. The screen resolution is fantastic -- I never watched videos on my iPad but I do on the Tab. The Android Kit Kat OS works fine, and there are a ton of apps available.
Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Fast; Great Screen
Buttons Poorly Placed
Summary: Samsung's copious software add-ons and UI tweaks mean that the Galaxy Tab S delivers a particular kind of Android experience. We have a few issues with some of these extras, but the slimline Galaxy Tab S is still a very impressive tablet.
Thin and light; Excellent screen; Good battery life; Reasonably priced LTE option
My Magazine feature can't be removed; Disappointing speakers; Lacks NFC
The tablet is highly portable, cute and has a great display. So if you need a media device to stream all your movies and browse all the awesome Tumblr galleries, you have come to the right place.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is an extremely light and slim tablet, making for a super sleek media companion; Its beautiful screen, capable of delivering rich tones and colors, is also on our favorite list.
As you probably expect, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is not a cheap tablet; The 16GB version retails for about $499 / €386 (the Wi-Fi variant); The LTE model is bound to cost even more, so many customers might be put off by the amount of money they would have to spend.
