Just ok

This is an ok tablet for very basic use. It is super sensitive on the edges so i find i often end up touching parts of the screen unintentionally. Fine for email and basic surfing. Probably worth spending more if you need more than that.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Review: Good Performance With A Good Price

Every now and then Samsung will make a lower end tablet with a nicely inexpensive price to stay in competition with other companies out there, and the Galaxy Tab A is definitely inexpensive.

Screen size; battery life

Poor camera quality

Samsung Galaxy Tab A

The price is right for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Starting at $229, the 8-inch model is the first Samsung budget tablet to boast a price as modest as its specs. (UK availability has yet to be announced, but the US price converts to around £230.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is affordably priced and offers many premium app perks for free; Its microSD slot accommodates cards up to 128GB

The plastic construction feels cheap, and the single speaker provides weak audio; The text often appears pixelated

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0

At $200, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 is nicely built, but a little pricey for what you get. Its compact size and long battery life make it a good option for media consumption or basic productivity tasks on the go, especially if you want access to Google Play.

Solid performance; Good build quality; Access to Google Play store

Underwhelming cameras; A bit pricey for what you get

Perfect product! This was a gift for my mom's 70th birthday and she LOVES it. The Samsung tablet also works in sync with her Samsung cell phone which makes her extremely happy!
