The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is undoubtedly a good phone, if not a very good phone. While not a revolutionary upgrade, Samsung focused on minor improvements and many of these have led to a better smartphone than the Galaxy S8+. However at the same time, several areas of the Exynos model are disappointing.

Upgraded from an S7 and was definitely worth it.I was a bit annoyed with the grey as i usually get black phones but this colour looks great. The fingerprint reader location is perfect. The only minor downside is the bixby button. Did they really need a physical button for this

As always, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ isn't the perfect smartphone, but then what really is? Manufacturers on the Android system have found their niches and specialities; while OnePlus might be known for its performance and speed, Google Pixel phones are reputed for camera and software.

I'm happy to report that upon initial setup with the Galaxy S9+ the user is given a choice to download Samsung's default apps - or not! Having an out-of-box experience using many stock Google apps creates an experience close enough to a Pixel to make this a nice alternative to Google hardware for...
