Samsung had announced the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and its large screen flagship, the Galaxy Note 5 , around the same time. While both these are large screen phones, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a higher end variant of the dual-edge display phone Samsung launched this year – the Galaxy S6 edge .

As soon as we opened the box, we were suprised how beautiful the phone is. It uses the same samsung UI, If you have the Note 5 the only difference is that, the S6 edge + comes with the edge screen.

With more memory and excellent battery life the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a powerful phone and a great choice if you want a large screen. However, it's expensive, unwieldy and Samsung has dropped the IR blaster and hardly added anything to the edge screen.

An excellent phone on its own merits, the Edge Plus is unfortunately let down by the fact that it's a little unnecessary compared to its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a stunning phone to look at, one that has literally turned heads in our 10 days of daily use. Its curved screen edges make its design stand out from the crowd, so if ever you wanted a phone to get tongues wagging then, well, this is the one.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is available now from all major US carriers, priced at $299.99, with a two-year contractual commitment, for the 32 GB version, with the 64 GB option setting you back an additional $100. Off-contract, the device can be found for an expensive $815 and $915 respectively.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is designed to turn heads. Its metal and glass chassis features a large, 5.7-inch dual-edge Super AMOLED display. Rather than have a border encasing all four sides, the long sides are contoured, creating an effect like an infinity pool.

This is a nice gold premium looking phone but after using for the last few months, noticed that it is very hard to hold and use due to the double edges. While holding the phone, the edges are sensitive to touch.
