Nobody hasn't heard of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Arguably the most popular Android-based brand in the world, the Galaxy series of smartphones has long commanded respect and loyalty. It isn't known for its dashing good looks – and indeed, we wish Samsung had opted for a nicer chassis over its sub-par...

Its camera is phenomenal; its processor will blaze through anything you can throw at it; its chassis is functionally waterproof, so long as you don't go diving – and that's just to start

The phone's vaunted fingerprint scanner is too much of a nuisance to actually use; while its all-plastic construction feels as cheap and flimsy as ever

Good looking and fun to use

Moved to the S5 from an Evo. Like a leap forward in technology. Only one thing is inconvenient - volume and on/off buttons are across from each other so when I power off I also change the phone volume unless I am careful.

Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Quality Construction

Misleading description

When we purchased this we felt we could take to any carrier. Seems that was not the case and were told when we brought to Sprint that we could only use at AT&T.

It's finally here. Samsung's Galaxy S5, the big bet for 2014, the main event, the latest flagship in the spectacularly successful Galaxy series – a series so popular that Samsung could practically release a new phone with zero improvements and it could very well sell millions!

Great battery life; good camera; waterproof design

Dated Galaxy design; special features novel yet not groundbreaking

Packed to its gills with incredible hardware and some nifty features, the Galaxy S5 has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Naturally I was excited to get the ‘electric blue' variant to test-out, which will naturally be against the likes of the HTC One M8 and the Sony Xperia Z2.

Galaxy S5 REVIEW – Can Samsung Keep the Crown?

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 during the 2014 Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona earlier this year, and just a few months later it's available all around the globe, and from major carriers in the United States for $199 with a new two-year contract.

Great Camera; Solid Battery Life; IP67 Resistant against Dust and Water

TouchWiz Needs to Go; Heart Rate Monitor is Gimmicky; Not as premium looking or feeling as other flagships

Samsung's Galaxy S5 has plenty of upgrades-so why does it feel so meh?

It's hard to argue with Samsung's across-the-board improvements. While it's really not exciting and doesn't blow the S4 away, the S5 is a perfectly serviceable upgrade. On the other hand, there is a lot of junk here.

A 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 makes this the single fastest smartphone available (for now); The new button layout; with "Recent Apps" becoming a top-tier button; makes multitasking a lot easier; With no menu button; Samsung has had to add on-screen controls to the Touchwiz apps; which makes feature...

TouchWiz is a fragmented clash of three different operating system styles; We aren't sure a heart rate monitor would be useful on a phone; but the one on this phone is only right about half the time; The fingerprint reader can't be used one-handed; The usual cheap-feeling plastic.

never recommend Samsung mobiles phones.

I am a Samsung user from very long. I really liked this brand and always used to recommend this to my friends and family but from past years I have notice that after the usage of 6 7 months Samsung mobiles are getting slow and starting to hang.

Samsung Galaxy S5 review: Improved phone still a step behind other Android models

With the Galaxy S5, Samsung has pulled back the reins. The phone maker shifted its focus to refining the features that were already present in predecessors like the Galaxy S4 rather than stuffing more into an increasingly wider polymer body.

Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 is a great phone when you first start using it and it has a ton of accessories that continuously coming out. The 16GB will easily hold most data that you will need and also has expandable memory in case you need more.
