The S5 is a solid upgrade over last year's model, with improvements to the hardware, software and camera. However, certain headline features like the fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor are mediocre at best.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been one of the most anticipated phones of the year and I decided to buy it when I saw its one page advertisement in the newspaper a week back. I never fail to read the newspaper and I am happy that this habit of mine has introduced me to one of the best phones which I am...
This phone has lots of nice and handy features ! Also, the touchwiz UI is changed and looks decent ! Pros:- 1.Awesome Camera 2.Very smooth 3.Overloaded Features 4.Heart Rate sensor 5.Waterproof Cons:- 1.Poor Build 2.Not so Good Battery life
Avoid this phone and it's new replacement, the S6 has the same weaknesses. Shame on Samsung for opting for glitz rather than quality of materials and engineering.
Decent camera; nice exterior appearance; expandable memory and replaceable battery
Cheap plastic case, very weak and prone to fail 3.0 charging port; Loaded with Samsung bloatware
We called the Samsung Galaxy S4 a thing of beauty and the S5 is even better. It feels better, looks better and does more than its predecessor. S Health is a great addition and a genuine alternative to other fitness and health apps out there.
Updated design; Camera innovation; Cleaner UI
Too big for some; Slightly delicate; Unreliable sensors
Moved to the S5 from an Evo. Like a leap forward in technology. Only one thing is inconvenient - volume and on/off buttons are across from each other so when I power off I also change the phone volume unless I am careful.
Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Quality Construction
Off And Volume Ctrls
When we purchased this we felt we could take to any carrier. Seems that was not the case and were told when we brought to Sprint that we could only use at AT&T.
The S5 is a good phone easy to use and quick , Optus plans are good value and even include qantas frequent flyer points...
I really like this phone. I feel a lil old because now they have a S7 out. Samsung never let me down.
I've been an avid iPhone user. Having had them since the iPhone 3 and kept upgrading as new ones come out. I've jailbroken my iphones but even so I never had nearly the amount of customization as I do with the Galaxy. It is WAY less glitchy and I havent had it crash once. (unlike the iPhone!
