Samsung Galaxy S III

Samsung's Galaxy smartphones have proven popular, both with reviewers and in the marketplace. Last year's Galaxy S II received an Editors' Choice award, making it a hard act to follow: has Samsung managed it with the Galaxy S III

Excellent high-resolution screen; Some clever usability features; Quad-core processor; Good battery life; MicroSD storage expansion

Large and unwieldy; Smart Stay feature failed to work consistently

Samsung Galaxy S III Review (AT&T)

by Adam Z. Lein That's right, it's another review of the Samsung Galaxy S III.  This time we've got the AT&T version. It's very similar to the Sprint version and shares many software features with the international version , so instead of reiterating everything from those reviews, we're going to...

+ Gorgeous hardware design; + Thin and light; + Large 4.8″ HD Super AMOLED screen; + Fantastic call quality; + High speed LTE network support; + Great battery life; + Fast camera shutter responsiveness

- Poor on-screen keyboard; - Superfluous bundled software; - The back can get very warm; - Very slippery and sometimes difficult to hold; - Camera doesn't always focus correctly when taking a picture

Samsung Galaxy S3

Just look at the specs: an in-house Exynos 4412 quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280 x 720), 16 GB of microSD-expandable memory (very nice), 50 GB of free cloud storage

Removable battery / microSD card slot; Quality screen; Responsive and smooth at all times; Simple; intuitive TouchWiz interface; Very good camera; Comprehensive video player; Some original exclusive functions; Low SAR level; Battery life

Design is a bit vanilla; it's nothing new or innovative; Touch-sensitive buttons often end up being pressed accidentally; S-Voice function nothing to write home about

The Galaxy S III, as Samsung touts it, is “inspired by nature â€" it sees, listens, responds, and allows you to share the greatest moments,†and that theme is ever present when you turn on the phone for the first time.

A pretty cool feature is window-in-window, which allows you to watch a video and look at your home screen or browse the web at the same time; Sporting Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich, the S III means business.

The only real problem with this device is the price
