Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus SM-G975F 8GB 128GB

The S10 Plus model is the larger sibling of Samsung Galaxy S10 and has been worth the wait. Features like Wireless PowerShare, in screen fingerprint sensor, hole punch screen notch, and next-gen Wi-Fi 6 for seamless transition between Wi-Fi routers, are just a few reasons to get excited.

More phablet than phone

The Plus size dimensions take this smartphone into phablet territory, with a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio, 6.4-inch edge-to-edge screen and Samsung’s new Infinity-O display which spills, beautifully, down the side of the phone.

Eye-catching to the last pixel

The S10 Plus is the first phone with HDR10+ support. This brings superior contrast and colour to the large screen, making the S10 Plus a great option if you like to watch movies on the phone. On THIS phone, that movie watching experience is pretty awesome!

Triple treat cameras

The triple camera set up consists of a 12MP regular lens, 12MP optically zoomed telephoto lens, and all-new 16MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there's 4K UHD recording, while 10MP and 8MP lenses work in conjunction to add more depth to selfies.

All sorts of photographic tricks

Pretty much every photographic feature and magic trick is included. For example, Dual Aperture provides day to night light control by adjusting and optimising light before you shoot. Meanwhile, the processor automatically combines multiple frames of a low-light moment into one stunning shot.

Share the power

Turn your S10+ over and you have a sizeable Qi charging mat, thanks to Wireless PowerShare. To ensure you don't run out of battery power in your primary device, PowerShare turns off at 30% battery capacity. The battery is 4,1000mAh capacity, the processor is a world-leading Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, while the vapor chamber cooling system makes the S10 Plus ideal for long gaming sessions on that cinematic screen!

Samsung Galaxy S10+ review: A truly stellar smartphone

With a breathtaking camera and stunning looks, it's the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is undoubtedly the best phone Samsung has ever created - but it's also the best phone available right now. If you can stomach the high price, you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding camera; Gorgeous design; DeX Mode no longer needs a dock

Expensive; Occasionally unwieldy

My New Phone and then Some!!

The whole point, for me, was that to buy this phone will hopefully save an awful lot of money in the long term even if one does have to dig deep to buy it in the first place, it just makes so much sense not being tied to a contract where one was not necessarily using the full a monthly allowance of...

One of the best

One of the best on the market. I really like the phone and it is close to be the best. However few things have to be improved. Battery life must be longer. Picture taken by night aren't good enough for this price. Telescopic mode is just for normal usage.

Very good phone for varsity of jobs; Wifi and bluetooth is fast; Pictures and video in regular conditions are fare enough; Display is really astonishing; Design is one of the better on the market; UI is well organized; Well combined with android functionality; Headset connector still in place; Sound...

UI could be faster; In case you drop it; can't guarantee for display; Could be less pricey; Battery life should last at least for one day of heavy usage; Camera in night mode not so helpful and telephoto mode could be improved to 10x; GPS loses signal even in the tree shadow; Wifi signal could be...

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus review: Killer cameras and battery life might meet their match in the Note 10

I've been using the Galaxy S10 Plus ($390 at Amazon) every day since Samsung launched the phone four months ago as one of its flagship models for 2019. Despite the threat of being overshadowed by the foldable Galaxy Fold and the faster Galaxy S10 5G (and being knocked out from below by the value-buy Galaxy S10E), the Galaxy S10 Plus has hung on as one of the top Android phones of the year. Soon, the S10 Plus' best virtues -- its sharp screen, three top-notch cameras and all-day battery life -- will face another challenge from within Samsung's ranks, the upcoming Galaxy Note 10, which is all but confirmed to launch Aug. 7 in New York.

The Galaxy S10 Plus is an outstanding phone for 2019, although serious photographers will find its nighttime camera shots lacking. Competition, including from the upcoming Galaxy Note 10, is mounting.

The Galaxy S10 Plus has a phenomenal AMOLED screen, monster battery life and loads of useful camera tools; The option to wirelessly charge another device is convenient and really works.

Nighttime and low-light shots on the Galaxy S10 Plus aren't as clear or crisp as dedicated night modes on the Pixel 3 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro; The ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader isn't always fast or accurate; Mispresses on the curved, edge-to-edge display are a minor annoyance.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ review

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is a surprisingly sensible phone. Samsung has left the glittery tech fireworks of 5G and 3D depth cameras to the Galaxy S10 5G, to make sure you can appreciate every hit feature of this more mainstream phone right here, right now. Its punch hole screen is as much of an audience divider as a notch, but is more practical than a slider. And the triple rear camera is masses of fun to play around with. Still, the Mate 20 Pro keeps hanging around in the corner of our vision, and is a reminder of quite how brilliant Huawei phones are these days. It outlasts the S10+ with day-to-day use, and its ultra-wide camera and amazing Night mode make it even more of a flexible photographic gymnast. But, hey, that phone doesn’t have a headphone jack and there’s no worry your messages are being pinged straight to the Chinese government here... something Donald Trump would probably tell you is happening.

Samsung OLED screens rule, as usual; The camera is a photography powerhouse; Supremo video stabilisation;

Not a low light camera class leader (yet); There are some bugs; It's pricey; We don’t get the best CPU in the UK;

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus review

The Galaxy S10 Plus was Samsung's new 'everything phone' for 2019, helping disrupt the sameness of the last few generations of handsets. Its 6.4-inch screen is so big it displaces the front camera, while its triple-lens rear camera can take ultra-wide photos. Hidden perks like an in-screen fingerprint sensor and Wireless PowerShare offer a lot of nifty features – just know Samsung is asking for a lot of money, too.

Excellent screen-to-body ratio; In-screen fingerprint sensor; Wireless PowerShare perk;

Sizable price hike; Bixby button still exists; Slippery design

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Review

We're about to hit a radical shift in the world of smartphones. 5G is going to overtake 4G, and toward the end of 2020, I anticipate we'll be seeing broader 5G coverage and new applications that take advantage of the new networks. Samsung's big, fancy Galaxy S10+ has an unbeatable screen and the best-performing components around. But at $999.99 and up, I have to ask: Is it worth investing in for three years? It just doesn't feel like it. The smaller Galaxy S10e, last year's Galaxy S9+, or even a lower-cost OnePlus 6T all feel like better buys for your money right now. Specs and Design The Galaxy S10+ comes in 128GB ($999.99), 512GB ($1,249.99), and 1TB ($1,599.99) capacities. The base model comes in black, blue, pink, or white, with colored aluminum under a glass back. The 512GB and 1TB models come with black or white ceramic backs. All models have a microSD card slot, in with the SIM card. SanDisk's new 1TB microSD card costs $449.99, so it's hard to justify Samsung's price for ...

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is a high-cost 4G phone at the beginning of the 5G era. It's excellent, but you can get almost the same performance elsewhere for much less money.

Class-leading display; Most powerful processor on an Android phone; Fastest modem; Wide-angle camera; High-quality build

Expensive; No advances in low-light photography over previous model
