After launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in September 2015, Samsung eventually gave in and delivered to power users the Note 5 Dual SIM in January 2016. While the dual SIM variant did arrive a bit late, there is still plenty of time till the next Samsung Note smartphone arrives (around September)...

After their flagship phone Galaxy S6, the Note5 is finally here with some interesting changes and new features over the previous versions. With a 5.7 inch display, better camera and S-Pen stylus, Samsung has proved to be a pioneer in Phablet category.

Samsung essentially started the large phone craze with their first Galaxy Note . It was an interesting device, combining a large display with a stylus in an unwieldly body, and many reviewers felt that the device's size would lead to poor sales.

Excellent, premium design crams a beautifully large display into a manageable body; Performance and camera are just as good as the Galaxy S6; The stylus experience is responsive and refined

The extra size comes at a hefty cost; No expandable storage or removable battery in a phone designed for power users

This phone advances on the Note 4 in only the most minimalist way while removing the option to expand the memory and offering a paltry 32 gig internal memory in most cases. What possessed Samsung to remove the SD card slot is totally beyond me.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a great sequel to the classic Note 4, and a phone we can imagine plenty of people favouring over the Galaxy S6 Edge+. After all, a pressure sensitive pen is a bit more useful than a screen that bends around a bit at the sides, right?

While we can't say as of now whether the move has given Samsung a head start against Apple's new iPhones, due to launch on Wednesday, both the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ have surely made the premium-end segment seem interesting.

When Samsung released the Galaxy S6, its first flagship with an all metal-and-glass construction, we were understandably excited. Other smartphones had done the same thing, certainly, but this was Samsung – for years, the company packed incredible components into phones with rickety, cheap-feeling...
