Great at what it does

Definately a good a good choice for those who want to keep on the go with fitness and technology and offers on screen realtime data and touch interface. The Fit is to be expected to be a fitness band first, as the screen size and shape only allow for the extra "smartwatch" side of things as a bit of...

allows you to track all your activities directly; easy to use; great battery.

3 apps required to make the most of it; doesn't offer in app coaching or goals

Wouldn't not recommend this and hoping ATT takes it back

The features are the reason I bought this, I can call my phone when I lose it, read my texts as they come in and play music. The main reason I bought it was for the pedometer which does not work right. Put the watch on as soon about I bought it from ATT drove home it caluculated 374 steps.

Samsung Gear Fit review

The Gear Fit is Samsung's answer to the activity tracker revolution. It's arrived as a Galaxy mobile-only accessory – rather than compatible with any old Android phone – alongside the other Samsung Gear smartwatches .

Phone notifications; Good looks; Curved AMOLED display; Lots of accessories

Poor sleep tracking; Accuracy issues; Limited analytics; Fiddly charging component

a good buy

I don't know why others have rated this when they haven't purchased it? Had this a few weeks and it's great I can go running with out my phone and still record most of my stats (no gas so no mapped route) The range on blue tooth is incredible and battery life what I'd expect from Samsung It may be a...

Samsung Gear Fit Review – a stylish accessory

With all of this in mind, we come to the most important question – would we buy the Samsung Gear Fit? The curved smartwatch definitely has a lot of appeal – the curved display look stylish on the wrist whilst viewing notifications and information is easy to adjust to.

Microsoft Band vs Samsung Gear Fit comparison

For anyone with a Samsung smartphone, the Gear Fit is the best choice, but for everyone else we'd suggest looking elsewhere if you're hoping to buy a smartwatch or fitness tracker in the near future.

Samsung Gear Fit works fine for outdoor running, cycling activities. Perhaps, this is what it is designed for. If you are planning to buy this fancy wrist gadget to flaunt around at the gym, it will only disappoint as a fitness gear.

Fab Aesthetics; Smartwatch functions; Useful S Health Application

Below average battery; No option to reduce screen brightness; Cannot track Gym exercises

Cannot use with a Nexus 5

Got this as a present and seemed like a cool little device. Unfortunately I was not able to download the Gear Fit Manager app for my Nexus 5. Kept getting a message saying "This device does not support Gear Fit". Its a shame the app is only available for newer Samsung handsets.

Smartwatches were slated to be the next big thing, however, after countless releases; they still haven't quite taken off just yet. Then on the other side of the spectrum, we have fitness bands, which are actually doing very well.

Comfortable; Nice and bright curved AMOLED display; Battery life; Easy to use; IP67 certified

Limited functionality; Accuracy; Narrow display is a little awkward; Charger

Samsung Gear Fit Smartwatch Review and Giveaway

Don't buy it. For some users access to health metrics and notifications in a $200 package is exactly what they're looking for. For the rest of us, buy a device dedicated to either one or the other.
