A-game

You don't need to be the best if you can be the crowd favorite. The Samsung Galaxy A8 is Samsung's thinnest smartphone yet and is certainly learning from the Note5 in some respects, but while it can't beat it on features it's likely to rival it on popularity.

We've previously expressed our feelings about why , and the Samsung Galaxy A8 is a perfect mascot for that opinion. It's a well-designed, well-built device that is easy to hold and use despite being phablet-sized. It performs as per expectations and offers remarkable battery life.

Samsung gets a lot right with the Galaxy A8, including its premium metal construction, excellent camera experience, and surprisingly impressive battery life. With other key aspects like performance being at par with most other mid-range smartphones out there that are available at far cheaper price...

-All metal design; Large vibrant display; Thin profile; MicroSD expansion; Fantastic battery life; Excellent camera; Fingerprint scanner

Samsung SGH-A800

It's true: small is beautiful. And the Samsung A800 is as good an example of this phenomenon as you are likely to find.

Sprint PCS Vision Multimedia Phone MM-A800 By Samsung

Finally! If you've been dreaming of a phone that takes decent pictures, you'll gladly hand over your cash for the MM-A800 from Samsung-the nation's first available 2-megapixel camera phone. This phone takes pictures good enough to print, plays MP3s, and even scans business cards.

The only 2-megapixel camera phone in the U.S; Lots of cutting-edge features

Though the camera is excellent; many other features aren't quite perfect.

Samsung SHG-A800 GSM Phone Review

It seems that the first clamshell phone rolled out onto the market quite recently. If I'm right it was Samsung SGH T100. The company went further and released two new models with the design similar to the successful T100. They were S100 and A800.

Not described right. It is a old phone. You can't activate it. The sticker from under the battery has been removed so there is no DEC number to activate I bought it because I thought it was a newer phone and I thought I was updateing my phone but come to find out it is an older phone.

What A Replacement!

I'd have to say this: The phone certainly trumps the LG MM-535. Slider phone fans: if you don't need bluetooth or speakerphone, find one and hold on to it. I started out with the Samsung A-940, and quickly sold it to a friend for far less than what I paid for it.

Samsung MM-A800 Surprises (And Disappoints)

Samsung's MM-A800 two-megapixel camera phone certainly has many features: picture mail, business card scanning, multimedia playback and speech-to-text dictation. But while attractive on paper, most of the capabilities managed to disappointment in some way.

Samsung SGH-A800

Samsung MM-A800 Sprint's snazzy new slider phone boasts the first 2-megapixel camera in the United States and a host of multimedia goodies, but it's stuck on yesterday's data network.

Two-megapixel camera; nice slider design; large, gorgeous screen; direct-to-printer photo printing; business card reader; streaming video and audio player; 32MB TransFlash memory card included; 3D gaming

Bulky and heavy; no Bluetooth or IR support; no speakerphone; choppy video over 1xRTT network; expensive
