Samsung Galaxy A7 review

Neatly balancing performance and price, the A5 has plenty to like - but there are strong rivals nipping at its heels Great build quality Punchy AMOLED screen Good battery life Decent cameras Video could be a little sharper Some better-specced competition Audio is disappointing

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) review: Premium design, great?camera

Samsung Galaxy A series is all about offering a premium experience, but at a mid-range pricing. But, lately, the competition has gotten really tough in this price band.

Samsung Galaxy A7 review

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) was a beautiful smartphone that did justice to Samsung's Galaxy A series, notably thanks to its impressive battery life. So what about the 2017 edition of the Samsung Galaxy A5? Is it better than its predecessor or is it just a copy with minor improvements?

Samsung Galaxy A7 2017

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is a well designed smartphone with good battery life. However, it does have its weaknesses, and isn't always dependable. The OnePlus 3T and Moto Z are faster, with better cameras. The Galaxy A7 is for those who put good looks above all else.

Great premium design; Great battery life

Sub-par performance

Marathoner with a punch

A Samsung for every taste - that seems to be the main mantra of the Korean giant as of late, as evident by its sprawling and ever-expanding smartphone lineup. Samsung Galaxy A5 & A7: Australian Review

When did mid-range phones get good ? When did they get waterproof, with good cameras, great battery life, and design that looks just about as high-end as anything else you can buy?

GOOD!

I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy S 7, which is inconvenient for the screen operation. It is because the screen is longer than the other screens next to the screen.

Galaxy A looks great; yes!I wanted to try it

I don't think there's much of a disadvantage

Samsung didn't announce a smartphone at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and the highly-anticipated Galaxy S8 won't be available for at least another month. But Samsung released the Galaxy A7 to beef up the company's mid-tier portfolio.

Sleek design; glossy finish; water resistant; expandable memory; good front and rear camera; excellent battery

Running older Android 6.0; rear panel is a fingerprint magnet; fingerprint reader could be faster
