The Samsung Galaxy A5 is amongst the best designed phones in the market, but at Rs. 29,400, it is just too expensive to recommend. It's performance isn't comparable to its competitors and you would be better of buying an HTC One A9 or the much cheaper Nexus 5X.

Positives: - Very responsive - Long battery life (I get 2 days out of it easily) - Beautiful screen - Dual Sim with dedicated seperate SD card slot Negatives: - Camera cannot focus on objects at close range which is very frustrating. - Only 16gb of internal memory.

The mid-range market has never been as tough as it is now. The Galaxy A5 2016's main appeal is to the peeps who want a phone that kind of looks like the S6 and roughly has the same features but has a lower sticker price.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is a beautiful phone, with a metal and glass design that's similar to the flagship S6. It's a capable performer with an AMOLED display, fingerprint scanner, 8-core processor and good battery life. Now that the price has dropped, it's a top buy!

Since I do not prefer the Motorola or the Nexus, my opinion for Galaxy A6 (2016) is one of the best mid-range phone now. Build quality is elegant and feel a lot like the Galaxy S6. Excellent 5.2 "Super AMOLED display (there is no difference between QHD and FHD).
