What a great little phone!

I bought this phone a few days ago to replace my trusty Galaxy S2. I didn't want a monster phone or a monster price tag. But I did want 3 years replacement warranty and the familiar android operating system. I am very pleased indeed with this phone.

Value For Money: Great Phone

I have been using Samsung for quite a while and hence planned to gift my wife Samsung A3. I found A3 an amazing phone with great picture quality in this segment. It is great value for money. Its camera is wonderful and taking selfie is so fun with amazing picture quality.

After two years this phone has held up brilliantly.

I had now had this phone for 2 years and it is as brilliant as when i got it. The only downside is that the camera was faulty but i never got it changed, and it was extremely easy to change the screen and LCD.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 is the junior member of the company's new metal-clad lineup. The least likely one to challenge the Alpha-dog but just as slim and sharp as the rest of its Galaxy A teammates.

Distinct Dual-SIM model (1GB RAM) and LTE model (1.5GB RAM, NFC, Cat; 4 LTE) available, 4.5" qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen, 245ppi, with ambient light sensor, Android 4.4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz, Snapdragon 410 chipset, quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53, Adreno 306 GPU, 8MP auto-focus camera, LED flash,...

On the pricey side at launch; Relatively low resolution display; Non-removable battery; Dual SIM model has less RAM than the single-SIM model and no NFC; The second SIM slot on the Dual SIM model doubles as a microSD slot; so you can only use it with a SIM card or a microSD card; but not both...

Samsung Galaxy A3 review

Last year's Galaxy Alpha and Note 4 signified the beginning of the end for all plastic, high-end Samsung smartphones. While the inclusion of a metal frame on both devices was certainly welcome, the Korean firm wasn't ready to forgo its beloved plastic entirely.
