The SSD Review

During today's report the Samsung 960 EVO delivered some great results. It reached its rated read and write speeds of up to 3.2GB/s read and 1.9GB/s write. 4K QD1 read and write speeds were very good averaging about 50MB/s for read and 250MB/s for write, which is close to the Pro's 63MB/s and nearly...

Warranty period is 3 years rated at 100 TBW for 250GB, 200 TBW for 500GB, and 400TB for the 1TB model. Samsung has finally brought their TurboWrite technology to an NVMe M.2 SSD, and it absolutely did not disappoint!

High apparent and burst performance

- Relatively high price; - Much slower than the larger versions; - Disappointing sustained performance

Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD Review

KitGuru says: It will be interesting to see if the mainstream market is ready to embrace an NVMe M.2 drive, even if it does pack a sizeable performance punch.

Performance; Intelligent TurboWrite

Pricey; Only a three-year warranty

Samsung NVMe 960 M.2 Evo SSD Review

We've only just looked at the flagship model in the new Samsung 960 range, the Pro, and found it to be gobsmackingly good.
