The thing that I found the best about the game was all the different varieties of stuff to do, it's very far fetched which usually isn't my thing but Saints Row pulled it off.

The Saints Row franchise has always been compared to anything that GTA does. It's after all an open-world sandbox game. Because of this it's always played second fiddle to the monster that's the GTA franchise, until now. I'm about to tell you something very important.

Game itself is great and have it for the PS3. This 2 star review is for the PS4 version which crashes every 20 minutes in the middle of ordinary actions. Horribly bugged port to the PS4 and evidence they didn't do any quality control

The Saints Row series might well have started as a GTA clone , but with each new game the craziness has been dialled up, and now there's aliens, super powers and a psychotic US President. It's with this type of absurdity that the series has found its own identity.
