Deep Silver has released the hack-n-slash title, Sacred 3 , for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Sacred 3 features drop-in and out co-op multiplayer that allows up to two players to join in the fun offline and up to four player for epic online play.

Deep Silver have been busy. They've been acquiring licenses to franchises and saving games from development hell left right and centre. The Sacred franchise is the latest in their bid to become one of the big boys, and whilst it doesn't do anything particularly new Sacred 3 is a decent entry into...

In the end, I don't think Sacred 3 knew what its own genre was. If it was self-aware that this was nothing more than a hack and slash dungeon crawler, it could have gone the extra mile and given it a refreshing arcade feel, like Dragon's Crown did.

This game is nothing like Sacred 2. Thank goodness! Sacred 2 is, by far, the worst game I have played on Xbox 360. It is terrible! The graphics, the gameplay, the characters...everything is just awful in Sacred 2. I cannot believe people actually praise that game as being good.

All in all bad cg, linear/non exsistant story line, and the weapons do not even change, DO not buy this game, it is BAD

Sacred 3 is the latest instalment in the Sacred franchise, which originally premiered on the PC back in March 2004. Back then the series was a Diablo clone packed with quests, deep character customisation and loot hunting in an expansive open world.

Enjoyable multiplayer action ;  The story is funny at times

Can get repetitive ;  Dumbed down compared to the older games

I got into the Sacred series with Sacred 2 on Xbox 360, loved that game. Sacred 3, not as much loving with that one. Its not an open world, more of an arcade hack n slash, button mashing game. I have two stars becuase it does have good graphics and audio.

Good game, but should not be called Sacred 3...it clearly is just a pure action RPG with bad RPG elements coated in a bland Sacred coat. Sacred 2 was an incredible game but if you liked Sacred 2 and expect the same from this game you will be disappointed.

If you're a Sacred fan steer right away – this is not the game you know and love. It would have been bearable even though they had taken out loot, skill trees and free-roam game-play. But they had to make EVERYTHING a joke in this game, its pretty much the most unoriginal comedy drama ever written.
